Shawn has over twenty five years of sales and training experience. Before she was in sales, Shawn was a service rep. She knows first-hand how tough the service role can be.She acquired her experience in a variety of industries, probably faced the same challenges you and your reps do and (for the most part) overcame them. Even now, Shawn keeps her skills—and our programs—fresh by leading business development for Savage and Greene.
Excellent instructional designer and writer
After years of performing at the top of the sales game, Shawn moved into training. There, she learned how adults learn and how to create effective programs on shoestring budgets.Shawn is also an excellent writer; whether she’s re-writing procedures manuals so people actually use them, or tearing up the keyboard for the second edition of “I’d Rather Have a Root Canal Than do Cold Calling!”
Speaker
The “Root Canal” book is a big hit. It sells in four countries, including Canada. Its popularity brings more and more speaking gigs Shawn’s way, so now she gets to include that in her bio.Her programs are famous for humor and value. Want a speaker who will actually teach you something? Then Shawn’s your man. Woman. Person. You know what we mean.
Smarty-pants
Once Shawn landed in training, she realized it combined all of her talents into one trez-cool package valued by many. To her surprise, that included a talent for consulting; skills formerly identified by several in authority as being a smarty-pants.
